Tools for developers
Four small jobs recur across a developer's week: invent a credential that is genuinely unpredictable, find the character breaking a JSON payload, push binary data through a channel that only accepts text, and read a number that arrived wearing the wrong base. Each takes a minute with the right tool and ruins an afternoon without one.
The Password Generator draws from the browser's cryptographic random source — the same Web Crypto primitive that security libraries build on — and shapes output to your length and character rules. The UUID Generator sets the version and variant bits to the RFC 4122 standard and emits up to a hundred v4 identifiers per batch, plain, uppercase, braced or compact. The JSON Formatter formats, minifies and validates documents, and when a parse fails it turns the engine's character offset into the exact line and column to inspect. The Base64 Encoder and Decoder reads results as UTF-8 so accented characters and emoji survive intact, and reports the byte cost an encoded string carries. The URL Encoder and Decoder applies RFC 3986 percent-encoding or the older form convention — a space as %20 or + — and maps every character of the input so you can see exactly what changed. The Number Base Converter turns one value into its binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal spellings at once, adds any base from 2 to 36 on request, and stops at the largest integer JavaScript can hold exactly rather than printing digits it cannot vouch for.
All of them run inside the page, so the credentials, tokens, payload contents and values you paste never leave your machine.
