Financial calculators and converters
Money tools earn trust by stating what they account for and what they leave out. All four entries in this category follow that rule, which matters more here than anywhere else on the site: a number that looks authoritative and hides an assumption is worse than no number at all.
Between them they cover the four shapes money questions take — servicing installment debt, converting at a reference rate, doing tax arithmetic, and growing a balance. The EMI / Loan Calculator prices installment debt with the standard reducing-balance formula and a full amortization schedule, and by design stops at interest: no calculator can know your lender's fee sheet, so processing fees and prepayment penalties stay outside for you to read the fine print onto. The Currency Converter converts at the European Central Bank's daily reference rates, the published figures accounting departments cite, and labels them as reference rates rather than trading prices. The Sales Tax / VAT / GST Calculator does the tax arithmetic on whatever rate you supply — adding it to a net price, dividing it back out of a gross one, splitting a GST-style tax in two — and carries no jurisdiction database by design, because rates differ by country and change with legislation. The Compound Interest Calculator grows a balance period by period and states its assumptions rather than hiding them: contributions credited at the end of each period, a constant rate, untaxed interest, and the effective annual rate shown beside the nominal one so the compounding frequency is never buried inside the headline.
Use all four for planning and comparison, and treat the output as the start of a decision rather than its conclusion.
